Sponsorship for musicians
Sponsorship for independent musicians usually sounds like something that needs a label, a manager or a large following. Helabetter considers applications from independent artists, bands, DJs and producers, with no single genre required. We support artists who release music on their own, and we look at the project you want to make and the audience you already have.
How sponsorship for independent musicians works
You do not need a label. Solo artists, bands, DJs and producers can all apply. Independent here means you release music without a label behind you. You may release through a distributor or on your own channel, or you may be planning a first release. All of these can apply. You also do not need a large following. A small group of listeners who stream your tracks and comment on your posts tells us more than a follower count. You come with a project and tell us what you need. We discuss it, agree on the terms, and only then does anything go public. Producers can apply with a beat series or a production breakdown. DJs can apply with a mix series or a set recorded live.
Use video to give a release more context
A music video is one way to present a song, but it is not the only visual format that can support a release. A live performance, rehearsal clip, production breakdown or backstage video can show the work behind the track and give your audience more ways to engage with it.
YouTube
A music video, or a live session recorded in one take.
TikTok
Short clips: the hook of the chorus, a moment in the studio, a rehearsal.
Reels
Backstage content: the recording booth, the rehearsal room, the day of a shoot.
Concerts, lives and joint streams
A release does not end on launch day. A concert, a live stream or an online show gives the song a second life. A joint stream with another artist or a creator brings your music to people who have not heard it yet. A joint stream can be as simple as two artists playing one song each and talking to the chat.
If your audience is mostly online, a live session may suit you better than a venue show. If you perform in venues, you can ask for support with the concert itself. A live session of your title track, recorded or streamed, can be the starting point for either. Many musicians also want to reach creators in other fields. Another option is giveaways for your listeners, where followers win a prize and you bring the audience.

Who we're looking for
- Any genre: afrobeats, funk, amapiano, sertanejo, gospel, rock, electronic and more
- Up-and-coming and established artists
- Original music and release plans
- Music on Spotify, YouTube, TikTok, Deezer or other platforms
What the support can go toward
Support can go toward a specific stage of a release:
Stages can be combined in one project. A single might pair a music video with short clips for TikTok. An EP might pair a live session with backstage content. Terms are discussed individually, and you can ask for support with one stage only.
How it works
- 01ApplyTell us who you are, what you create and where you post. It only takes a few minutes.

Helabetter merch for partners

How to present your project
Keep the application short and specific. Make sure to include:
- Your main profile.
- Links to Spotify, YouTube, Deezer and any other platform where your music lives.
- What the release is: a single, an EP, an album, a video or a show.
- When you plan to release it.
- What the support would go toward, and any live plans, such as a session, a concert or an online show.
Links matter most. They let us hear your work and see how listeners respond. A good project description is two or three clear sentences. For example: “I am releasing a four-track EP and need help with mixing and a music video.”
When your project is ready to describe, fill out the application form. We will talk about it by e-mail or WhatsApp.
