Sponsorship for streamers and gamers
Sponsorship for streamers is often tied to big channels and big numbers. Helabetter looks at something else: a chat that talks, viewers who come back, and a streamer who goes live on a steady rhythm. If you stream on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or TikTok Live, you can apply, whatever the size of your channel.
What sponsorship for streamers looks like
Sponsorship means financial support for the content you make on stream. That can be your regular live schedule, a special episode, or a tournament you want to run for your community. Terms are discussed for each channel, and nothing is published until you agree. You stay in charge of your own stream: the game, the schedule and your style. The same applies to game channel sponsorship on YouTube. If you make gameplay videos and reviews instead of live, you can apply in the same way.
In practice, sponsorship can mean a regular live schedule built around agreed themes, or a one-off special stream built around a game your community loves. The idea is yours. We discuss it with you and agree the terms before anything goes live.
Formats in practice
Here is how sponsorship can fit into what you already do:
Sponsored live stream
The chat joins in as usual, and the sponsorship fits into the show instead of interrupting it.
Online tournament
You choose the game and the format, and your chat can watch, vote or enter.
Challenge
A stream with a clear goal, such as finishing a game in one sitting or beating a hard boss with the chat's help.
Review
Your honest opinion of a game, with gameplay to back it up.
Gameplay
A series on a game you already play and know well.
Cuts for Shorts and TikTok
Short clips taken from your streams, such as a best moment or a funny reaction.
Joint live stream
A stream together with another creator, so each audience meets the other.
How to get sponsored on Twitch or another platform
The platform matters less than the habits behind the channel. Before you apply, check that:
- You stream or post on a steady rhythm.
- Your chat is active, even if it is small.
- You have regular viewers who return.
- You have a clear idea of what you would like to make.
Your application is read as a whole: the channel, the chat and the idea. Then apply with your channel link and your idea. You do not need a sponsor on your record. Any video game can be your subject. Shooters, football simulators, battle royale and mobile games are common examples. These are examples only, and we cannot promise that a particular game will be sponsored.
A small streamer can apply
A streamer small in audience size may still have regular viewers who return, participate in chat and recognise one another. Those signs help explain the community around a channel. We look at the community around you: who talks, who returns, who jokes with you between rounds. Consistency counts too. Going live on a predictable rhythm helps viewers return, and returning viewers are the sign of a real community. These are the signs we look for in a small channel:
- An active live chat.
- Viewers who come back.
- A steady streaming rhythm.
- A community that talks to each other, not only to you.
Bought viewers and bots are a reason for rejection. They do not help your channel, and they do not help us.
Partnership formats
Giveaways for your chat
Giveaways are how your chat gets something back. Helabetter provides the prize, and the streamer's audience wins. Whether you stream on Twitch, YouTube, Kick or TikTok Live, the idea is the same: regular lives, an active chat and something for your viewers to win. Twitch, YouTube, Kick and TikTok Live each have their own tools for chat, clips and alerts. Tell us which ones you use and where most of your viewers are. The first open giveaway is a GTA VI disc for PS5. You can read the details on the GTA VI giveaway page. The prize goes to a viewer, not to the streamer. Your role is to announce the giveaway on stream and keep the chat involved.
How it works
A sponsored stream usually follows four steps:
- 01You send your idea through the application form.
- 02We discuss the format and terms with you by e-mail or WhatsApp.
- 03You agree how the sponsored content will be labelled.
- 04You go live, and your chat takes part.
Labelling sponsored content
Sponsored lives and videos are labelled according to the rules of the platform you use. Each platform handles this in its own way. We will go through it with you before anything goes live.
Helabetter merch for partners
Our partners get Helabetter merch: a purple cap and jersey to wear in videos, on streams and on stage.

What to include in your application
Have these ready before you fill out the form:
- Your main channel and links to your other platforms.
- Your audience size as a range.
- The games or genres you usually cover.
- How often you stream.
- Your partnership idea.
A partnership idea can be one line: a weekly tournament for your community, a challenge series or a review stream. Add the language you stream in, so we know who your chat is.
When you are ready, fill out the application form. Tell us about your channel and what you want to build with your chat.

Application sent! Thank you — we'll read it carefully and, if it's a fit, we'll be in touch.
Do you make short videos about more than games?
Some streamers also post short videos about daily life, music or other topics. If that is you, read about sponsorship for influencers.
